"Oregon Fire" in Weaverville now 45 percent contained
Weaverville - All evacuation notices have been lifted after fire fighters continued to make progress on the Oregon Fire burning in Trinity County. Cal Fire authorities say a vehicle towing a boat started the 580-acre forest fire Sunday near Weaverville. The blaze is 45 percent contained as cooler temperatures and decreased winds have allowed crews to make good progress.
One structure has been destroyed and there has been one injury.
