North Coast - Some beloved tourist destinations are closed as mother nature impacts the north coast.
Due to lingering weather conditions, state park officials say the Newton B. Drury Parkway and Elk Prairie Campground at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park are closed along with Howland Road at Jedediah Smith State Park. Other closures include Fern Canyon and Gold Bluff’s Beach Campground.
Richardson Grove is also closed now in southern Humboldt because of downed trees and flooding. For more information on closures, go to: www.parks.ca.gov
