Eureka - Police responded to a burglary alarm in Eureka and found a large amount of marijuana and weapons.
Early Wednesday morning, law enforcement was alerted to an audible burglar alarm sounding at the 400-block of Cooper Lane. The front door of the residence had been forced open. No one was home but after obtaining a search warrant, authorities discovered nearly 140-pounds of marijuana, 208 grams of concentrated cannabis and 4-firearms including an AK-47.
No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call the Eureka Police Department.
