On Friday, August 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. there will be training scenarios taking place near Commercial and 4th streets in Eureka. The scenarios are part of the College of the Redwoods Crime Scene Investigators Course:
Power outage in McKinleyville area, 232 customers affected
Power was restored to all customers just before 3:30 p.m. on Monday. According to PG&E officials, the outage was caused by a fuse that went out.
On Monday just before 2 p.m. PG&E reported a power outage in the McKinleyville area. Officials estimate about 232 customers to be without power. A crew has been assigned to assess the outage. PG&E estimates power will be back on after 5 p.m. on Monday. Right now the cause of the outage is unknown.
