Protest at court house against U.S. immigration policy
EUREKA- Dozens rallied at the Humboldt County Courthouse Friday to protest against the deportation policies under the Obama administration.
Community members of all ages held up signs as protesters spoke about their concerns over recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids. Those at the rally said they feared they or their family members would be deported if the practices continued.
This is the first protest for immigration reform at the courthouse in years. Many at the rally are students of Humboldt State University and a handful were children attending the rally with their parents.
