TRINITY COUNTY- The recent rain fall has helped contain the Happy Camp Complex fire in Trinity County that has been burning since mid August.
According to officials, rain fell over the entire fire area Wednesday, with some areas receiving up to two inches of rain fall.
Thursday, fire crews looked for trees and debris that could have fallen over the containment line in the storm. Also, because of the rain, crews were able to go home. Officials say the fire is just smoldering now and is at 95 percent containment.
