Representative Jared Huffman to visit Samoa Pulp Mill site
SAMOA- Representative Jared Huffman will visit the Samoa Pulp Mill for the first time on Friday. The Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Coast Guard are scheduled to clean up the millions of gallons of hazardous waste at the site.
Huffman will visit the site with a representative from U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer's office, the EPA and U.S. Coast Guard.
25 trucks will transport the hazardous waste from the facility. The project will take till the end of the year to complete.
