Resident held at gunpoint during Arcata home invasion robbery
ARCATA- Two suspects are on the loose after an alleged home invasion robbery in Arcata Tuesday night. The suspects fled the scene after reportedly holding the residents at gunpoint and taking items from the home.
The robbery happened on the 2100 block of Eastern Avenue in Arcata. Officers responded to the home at around 9:56 p.m. The residents told police that the suspects entered through an open back door and confronted the occupants. The suspects were reportedly wearing black ski masks, one held a knife and the other a gun. Police said one suspect held the two residents at gunpoint while the other searched the home.
Both suspects reportedly fled the scene in a dark colored pickup truck. They are described as white male adults, in their late teens or early twenties.
