Ribbon cutting ceremony held in honor of 30th anniversary of Los Bagels
EUREKA- A local bagel shop is celebrating 30 years of service and the Eureka Chamber of Commerce members were there to celebrate.
The ribbon cutting was held at the Old Town location of Los Bagels in honor of its 30th anniversary. The Arcata store was there first and opened up on March 1st of 1984. Owners say business has been thriving because of the unique blend of Mexican and Jewish cuisine as well as their service. They also owe their success to other North Coast food suppliers and stores. They buy products from over 20 local businesses.
"I think you're supporting your friends and neighbors and you support your own economy and that one builds on the other, the same way that we support community organizations all throughout the county and you create that relationship, and relationship is the heart of it," said Dennis Rael, a co-founder of Los Bagels.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for the Arcata location on I Street will be held on March 19th at noon.
