Rio Dell City Council will review ways to expedite its Metropolitan Wells Project
RIO DELL - Big projects in Rio Dell will be discussed on Tuesday night's city council meeting.
City Engineer, Jesse Willor will present an update to the council on current projects, specifically focusing on the Metropolitan Wells Project that will help alleviate drought impacts and assist local agencies to meet long-term water supply needs.
Estimated completion was originally 2019, but the council plans to review new options to move forward on the project. The goal is to get the project started and completed this year. As part of the project, 1.5 million dollars will go toward constructing a treatment facility and rehabilitating existing distribution systems.
