Rio Dell continues to conserve water; 40 percent reduction
RIO DELL-Drought conditions persist across the state and here on the North Coast. The city of Rio Dell, without being forced to limit their water use, have been able to reduce their water usage by 40 percent.
The state ordered the city to reduce the amount of water they were using in July, then lifted the order.
According to the City Manager, Kyle Knopp, residents are continuing to save water, cutting their water usage nearly in half.
