Rural counties organization welcomes Humboldt County
The Rural County Representatives of California, or “R.C.R.C.” has announced the addition of Humboldt County to its membership.
The R.C.R.C. voted unanimously to add the county at their recent December meeting.
Supervisor Rex Bohn will serve as the delegate on the R.C.R.C Board of Directors representing Humboldt County. Bohn said, “In joining an association of 33 other rural California Counties, we will have a stronger voice on issues in Sacramento and Washington DC. Hopefully, that will translate into reforming federal forestry management practices, addressing the state’s vast water needs and working to eliminate unfair fees on rural property owners.”
The R.C.R.C is a 33-member service organization that champions policies on behalf of California’s rural counties at the state and federal level.
They aim to provide responsible services to enhance and protect the quality of life in rural California counties.
