Search warrant for two motel rooms in Fortuna leads to 5 arrests
FORTUNA – With a search warrant, the Humboldt County Drug Task Force checked two motel rooms in the same vicinity leaving 5 people arrested after a drug bust in Fortuna.
Around 8:20 Wednesday morning, the Drug Task Force assisted the Fortuna Police Department with a search warrant for two motel rooms in the 800 block of main street.
In one room 47-year-old Jennifer Fuentes was with her 9-year-old son.
7 grams of meth packaged for sales was discovered.
Fuentes was arrested and transported to the county jail for possession and child endangerment.
The child was released to a family member.
In the second room, 22-year-old Rebecca Baker, 27-year-old Robert Cullen, and 29-year-old Terrisa Graham were detained.
Inside the room one ounce of meth, 11 grams of heroin, syringes and a digital scale was discovered, along with a 44-magnum revolver, and a 22 semi-automatic pistol.
This investigation is ongoing.
