WILLOW CREEK- After growing concerns from residents living in and near Willow Creek, Humboldt County Sheriff Mike Downey will meet with residents in town Thursday.

Community members are concerned over a recent crime spree that involved multiple robberies and the amount of coverage by the sheriff's office in town.

Downey will answer community members questions and concerns with Board of Supervisor Ryan Sundberg. Sundberg will also discuss the proposed countywide ordinance that looks to tax excessively high energy users that is targeted toward indoor marijuana growers.

The meeting will take place at the Willow Creek Community Services Building for an hour at 7 a.m. on Thursday.
