Six Rivers National Forest to hold aguatic restoration meetings
Northern California - Six Rivers National Forest is planning several meetings to discuss a forest-wide Aquatic Restoration Program.The meetings will be held before any program is instituted.
Forest officials are considering several types of actions including: Adding large woody debris to provide cover for Coho salmon and developing side-channel areas for winter rearing to encourage species diversity. Meetings will be held on December 8 from 4-6 pm at the following locations:
