St. Joseph's Hospital to collaborate with Stanford Medical
St. Joseph’s Hospital and Stanford Medicine will be collaborating in a new venture for cancer. A series of projects related to cancer care, clinical research and education are planned all with a goal of providing local patients with the highest cancer care possible.
The collaboration will include: a new cancer telemedicine tumor board program, access to cancer clinical trials and educational programs at Stanford Medical for St. Joseph Hospital physicians and staff. The clinical trials will offer patients at St. Joseph’s Hospital access to state-of-the-art treatment that currently requires travel to the San Francisco area for enrollment. Officials from St. Joseph’s say they are very excited to begin this new collaboration with Stanford Medicine.
