State Capitol honors Eureka soldier killed in Afghanistan
SACRAMENTO- Governor Jerry Brown and the first lady have honored Sgt. Christopher Mulalley, the Eureka soldier who was killed while serving in Afghanistan.
In Sacramento, Governor Brown ordered the flags to be flown at half staff in Mulalley's memorial. In addition, the governor will send a letter of condolence to his family.
Military officials confirm his death was the result of a non-combat related incident, which is still under investigation.
