The California Department of Fish and Wildlife wants to remind all anglers they are required to return their 2013 steelhead fishing report and restoration cards between January 1st and January 31st, 2014.
The cards are a fishing report as well as catch report and are vitally important for Fish and Wildlife authorities as they manage water and wildlife resources.
Those who did not fish for steelhead in 2013, are asked to select the “did not fish” option online or write “did not fish” on the card. Mail your card to the following address: CDFW Steelhead Fishing Report Card, P.O. Box 944209 Sacramento, Ca. 94244-2090. Additional information and a list of frequently asked questions about the program can be found at the CDFW’S steelhead fishing report website: www.dfg.ca.gov/steelheadcard
