Storm causes thousands to lose power on North Coast

NORTH COAST- Wednesday’s storm caused power outages throughout the North Coast.

Almost 4,000 customers were affected from Bridgeville up to Orick today.  Now, power has been restored to 3,000 people.  The biggest outages right now are in Burnt Ranch, with almost 300 customers affected, and Myrtletown, where more than 100 people are without power. The largest outage today was in Ridgewood, where more than 700 people lost power.  Power there has been restored. In the Hoopa Valley, more than 600 people lost power, but power has been restored to all but 63 customers.
