EUREKA- It was a special Friday for some kindergartners along the North Coast Friday as they celebrated their annual Truck Day.
Kindergarten students from Pine Hill Elementary School in Eureka have spent the last three weeks learning all about transportation. Friday morning students they had the chance see the vehicles they have been learning about in person. Parents along with the community were invited to show off their work vehicles, some of those included a fire truck, police car, and even a garbage truck.
Students learned about the different sirens and lights and tools used in each vehicle. Teachers believe it is a positive outreach to both the parents and the community.
