Students participate in regional S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G B-E-E

EUREKA- A group of local students put their spelling skills to the test at the 2014 Eureka City Schools’ Elementary Regional Spelling Bee.
 
The event took place at Winship Middle School Thursday afternoon. The nine schools that participated include: Alice Birney, Freshwater, Garfield, Lafayette, South Bay, Washington, Winship, Grant, Zane, and Cutten Elementary.
The students selected will go on to represent Eureka City Schools’ at the Humboldt County spelling bee on March 8th 2014.
