Supervisors to hold continuing public hearing on General Plan Monday

The Board of Supervisors will hold their continued public hearing on the Humboldt County General Plan Update Monday, January 13, at 1:30 pm or as soon as it can be heard.

The plan of this meeting is to discuss the planning commission approved draft plan along with the public guide, governance policy, conservation and open space and mineral resources.

A sign up list for speakers will be provided outside of the board chambers for those people wishing to present public testimony on the draft plan. The sign up list will be available at 1:15 pm prior to each hearing outside of the Supervisor’s chambers located at 825 5th Street in Eureka. Supporting documents and a schedule of proposed hearing dates are available at the Humboldt County Planning Division website. Copies of the staff report and other meeting materials are available at the Board of Supervisors website beginning Friday, January 10th.
