Suspect with pumpkin carving knife allegedly robs Eureka gas station

EUREKA-A woman allegedly brandishes a pumpkin carving knife before robbing a Texaco gas station.

According to the Eureka Police Department, the robbery happened at the gas station on the 1,000 block of Broadway Friday. Officers recieved the report at 1:40 a.m.

Authorities said the female suspect pulled out the knife and demanded money. She reportedly also hit the employee with the knife, but did not cause any injuries.

She then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers and a K-9 searched the area, but did not locate the suspect.

The woman is described as a white female, in her late 20s, 5'1" with a thin build. She was wearing dark clothing, a dark mask and dark gloves.

The same gas station was reportedly robbed on Sunday.
