Thief steals plastic toy from computer store

FORTUNA- While emergency crews responded to the fire in Fortuna on Wednesday, just down the road thieves struck a local business.

Just after 6:30 a.m., Shaw's Computer Services was burglarized. A female suspect, identified as Natasha Sue Kotterman, allegedly broke the storefront window and stole a box from the shop. Authorities believe Kotterman thought the box contained high value electronics. In reality, inside was a low value plastic toy being saved for the Fortuna Volunteer Fire Department's annual Santa's Sleigh Drive.

Shortly after the burglary Kotterman was located and arrested. Edmond Clifford Kotterman and Breanne Elizabeth Dunsing were also arrested in connection with the crime.
