Three arrested in Fortuna on a multitude of charges

Fortuna Police have arrested a man suspected of auto theft and assault with a deadly weapon. In the course of the investigation, they also arrest two others. Officers located 40-year old Daniel Fidler in the 600-block of 15th Street. Fidler attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. He was taken into custody and transported to the Humboldt county jail. He was booked on the following charges: Possession of stolen property, felon in possession of firearm and ammunition, resisting arrest, assault with a deadly weapon and an outstanding arrest for auto theft. In the course of the investigation.two additional arrests were made of 25-year old Blake Nicole Weigand and 42-year old Anna Crowl. Weigand was booked for possession of concealed firearms, possession of 11.2 grams of methamphetamine and transportation of methamphetamine. Crowl was booked for an outstanding arrest warrant for burglary. Both were transported to the Humboldt County Jail.
