Three male subjects are wanted tonight after allegedly kicking down the door to a Eureka residence, binding the occupant with duct tape and ransacking the home this morning.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office said the armed home invasion occurred around 2 a.m. in the 4200 block of Union Street. The victim told deputies that he was sitting in the living room and was just about to go to bed when three men kicked down his door. The men allegedly ransacked the home and stole numerous large items including his vehicle, about 100 marijuana plants, disc jockey equipment and $4000 cash. Two of the suspects were armed, one with an AR-15 rifle and the other with an unknown handgun. The suspects reportedly also took the victim’s phone. Deputies were able to trace the phone to a residence on 13th Street and recovered several of the items.
As of tonight, the vehicle is still outstanding and so are the suspects. They are believed to white male adults, possibly in a gang. The vehicle is described as a Toyota 4-runner limited edition with license plate 7AHW195. The victim was uninjured.
