Traffic stop in Arcata sends a McKinleyville man to jail

ARCATA - A McKinleyville man has been arrested in Arcata after a parking infraction uncovered multiple drugs, paraphernalia and a weapon.

Taken into custody was 30-year-old Christopher Paul Littlejohn. Around 10:45 Wednesday night, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies noticed a car parked in a no parking zone. Littlejohn identified himself to authorities and a warrant check revealed he was wanted for three felony and two misdemeanor drug offenses. A search of a backpack yielded 1.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 3-grams of hash, 60-grams of dried marijuana and a wooden “Billy club.”

Littlejohn was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County jail. A female in the vehicle was released.
