Trial date pushed back a second time for alleged Rancho Sequoia shooter
EUREKA- The trial for the alleged gunman in a fatal Southern Humboldt shooting last July has been delayed once again. Matthew Brown of San Bernardino County is accused of killing 49 year old Alderpoint resident Neil Decker in the Rancho Sequoia Area.
Brown's trial was scheduled to begin on January 12, but that date was pushed back last week because there was not a courtroom available to hear the matter.
On Friday, his case was once again delayed because of this same reason. The attorneys will try once more next Friday, January 23, for a court room. If there is one available, his trial will begin January 26.
