Trial set for April; Suspect in fatal Trinidad RV park stabbing
EUREKA- The man accused of fatally stabbing a 24-year-old at a Trinidad RV Park will go to trial in April. Larry Clinton Morrow is the suspect in the case involving the death of Jessie Ruiz on January 10th at the Hidden Creek RV Park.
Morrow's trial date has been set for April 7th. He allegedly stabbed Ruiz multiple times after a fight involving both men that started inside a trailer.
The defense has previously argued that Morrow acted in self defense, but Judge Marilyn B. Miles said there was enough evidence in the case to hold him to answer in court.
Morrow will appear again in court on March 20th for a trial confirmation hearing.
