Trio of CR students win top award at film festival

EUREKA - Three local students from College of the Redwood’s Digital Media Program are winners of the creativity award in the recent “Project Accessible Hollywood Film Festival".

Heather Hulber, Nate Adams and Halie Carton won for their short video “Bih-holhld,” their film about the beauty of Humboldt county. the CR students were in competition with other university film departments from San Franciso, Oakland and Marin county. Films were judged on creativity, technical quality and the ability to capture the benefits of 4-K, high resolution film making.

In 2006, Christopher Coppola launched the film fest called “Pah-Fest” which has become a ground breaking digital media festival that celebrates and gives voice to the stories of everyday people.
