McKinleyville - Two 18 year-old men from McKinleyville were arrested after one flicked a lighted cigarette at a passing Sheriff’s Deputy.
Jacques Kincaid Leroux and Riley Kia Clark Walkner were walking with friends near the 1400 block of Hiller road in McKinleyville when the deputy stopped and questioned Leroux who said flicking the cigarette was an accident. The deputy could tell Leroux was intoxicated and he was arrested on multiple charges then later released.
Riley Kia Clark Walkner was also allegedly found to be intoxicated and in possession of a stolen bottle of Jack Daniels that still had it’s anti-theft cap from Safeway. Walkner resisted arrest and was eventually booked into the Humboldt county jail for violation of probation, public intoxication, resisting arrest and possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.
