Two arrested - Authorities searching for a third in burglary and forgery case.
Eureka - A tip from a local citizen nets Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies two of three suspects wanted in a burglary and forgery case. Authorities have arrested 51-year old Elizabeth Cruz and 45-year old Philip Ashley Wormington after photos of the suspects were released to the public. A third suspect, 34-year old Nicholas Paul Boswell is still at-large.
All three allegedly committed a burglary that took place July 8th. A 33-year old Eureka woman had parked her car at Samoa Beach to go for a run. When she returned, a window was broken in her vehicle and her purse was missing. Several days later, the victim noticed her debit card had been used four times at various markets and drug stores in Eureka. Security footage helped deputies with identifying the suspects.
Law enforcement is still asking the publics help in finding the remaining alleged burglar, Nicholas Boswell, a white male, 5’6” tall, 145 lbs. with a shaved head and blue eyes. There is a tattoo on his neck of brass knuckles and the word: “Hola.” Anyone with information is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at 707-445-7251.
