Two hospitalized with major injuries after crash with logging truck
Two men have been hospitalized with major injuries after an early morning crash with a logging truck.
Highway Patrol Officers say it happened on Highway 36 just before eight Thursday morning. They say a logging truck was headed westbound when they slowed to a stop near a lumberyard. Officers say the truck failed to yield the right of way and turned left, when a Ford Escort headed east collided into the side of the truck.
Jerrad Morss, 21, or Mad River, and Matthew Cooper, 21 of Rio Dell were inside. Officers say they both sustained major injuries as a result.
The crash is still under investigation.
