Two Hour Standoff Between Man With Bow And Arrow And Police
A Burnt Ranch man is in jail tonight after holding off law enforcement for two hours after allegedly threatening a man with a bow and arrow.
Officers arrived at a Burnt Ranch home after reports of a man threatening someone outside his home with a bow and arrow. Daniel James Hamel was found on scene and allegeldy went into his home after officers arrived.
Officers were able to get Hamel's family outside the home, but not Hamel. Officers attempted to contact Hamel for the next two hours. Hamel was located in the home and officers were able to detain him.
Hamel was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon booked with a $50,000 bail.
