EUREKA- Eureka police confirm two men were found dead at a home on the 2100 block of Harris Street on Wednesday night.
Authorities were called to the home at about 6 p.m. for a report of a person injured inside. When they arrived, they found two men deceased in the house. One of the men had "obvious signs of trauma."
Detectives are conducting a death investigation to determine what happened. A man was detained and interviewed as a possible suspect.
"When officers got here to render first aide, they recognized there was one male deceased on the floor of the house. They searched the rest of the house to check for other possible people injured and found one more male deceased," said Chief Andrew Mills of the Eureka Police Department.
Police are processing the crime as a homicide.
