Two politicians in Sacramento fined for Election Fraud
The Fair Political Practices Commission has decided to fine Senator Tom Berryhill (R-Modesto) and former Assembly Member Bill Berryhill (R-Stockton) $40,000 for election fraud. The Berryhills were charged with nine money laundering violations when Tom funneled $40,000 through various political committees to his brother Bill's 2008 assembly campaign.
