Tyrone Kelly to leave Six Rivers National Forest Service
Six Rivers National Forest Supervisor, Tyrone Kelly has been selected to be the Director of Engineering at the Forest Service’s Pacific Southwest Regional Office in Vallejo. The Pacific Southwest Region covers all of California, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
Kelly has been Six Rivers National Forest Supervisor since June of 2006. He spent twenty years of his career in various engineering position across the country and will return to his professional roots in mid April. Looking back on his past seven years, Kelly said he has truly enjoyed his tenure as Forest Supervisor and will miss the relationships that have been forged. He is looking forward to the new challenges ahead. His last day on the job will be April 18th.
A search for his replacement will begin immediately. Forestry Officials will be looking for an interim supervisor until a permanent replacement can be found.
