EUREKA: The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) and the Buckeye Conservancy held a workshop Tuesday evening
from 6 to 8:30 pm. Forest landowners, ranchers, dairy producers farmers and their families attended the workshop to help them learn steps in succession planning. The meeting helped to clarify values and goals of family properties. the workshop also included financial and legal discussions regarding trusts, limited liability companies and specific planning to manage land and resources as well as understand the financial impacts of ownership transfers across generations.
