Update: Deputies search truck believed to be involved in pharmacy robbery
EUREKA- Deputies in Hydesville found the get-away truck believed to be involved in a strong-armed robbery at a Scotia pharmacy today.
The robbery happened Tuesday afternoon at Palco Pharmacy just before 4 p.m. when deputies said a man wearing a hockey mask brandished a handgun and demanded both Oxycotin and Oxycodone. Cameras from inside and outside of the pharmacy captured the man wearing a hooded rain jacket and then taking off in what appeared to be a dark Toyota pick-up truck.
Deputies responded Wednesday morning to a home on the 2900 block of Johnson Road where the same truck involved was believed to have been found, but no one was inside of the home. The suspect is described as a white man 5’6”, 150 pounds with blue eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office Crime Tip line at (707) 268-2539.
