Victim identified, one in custody connected to Cutten homicide
CUTTEN- The victim of Thursday's fatal shooting in Cutten has been identified as 22 year old Ryan James Robinson of Rio Dell. According to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office, Robinson knew his alleged shooter, 32 year old Judson Allen Stiglich.
Robinson was pronounced dead just after 3:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Holly Street.
Two were detained for questioning during the investigation. However as of today, only Stiglich is being charged. He will be arraigned in court Monday on charges for Robinson's murder, as well as being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm and of stolen property.
The alleged murder weapon was found in a field on Cutten elementary school property. That firearm was stolen from a victim out of Fortuna.
Stiglich's bail is set at $1 million.
Robinson's autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
