EUREKA- The man accused of a double homicide in Eureka back in March has pled guilty to those charges.
A jury trial for Vincent Sanchez had originally been scheduled for next week, but was vacated in court on Wednesday at a trial conference. Sanchez pled guilty to two counts of second-degree murder. His half brother, 25-year-old Lance Henry, and 60-year-old Richard Storre were the victims in the double homicide. At the hearing, Sanchez also pled guilty to a special allegation of using a firearm in the commission of a felony. Sanchez will serve 40 years to life with the possibility of parole after serving 40 years. His time served does not count toward his sentence and his sentencing is scheduled for December 1st.
