Volunteers Prepare To Feed Hundreds At Arcata Thanksgiving Dinner
Volunteers were prepared to feed up to five hundred people at the Arcata Community Center on Thanksgiving. This is the first year that the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in Arcata was held at the Community Center.
Organizers received the food from local business owners and donors. District Supervisor, Mark Lovelace, volunteer at the event with community members and local business owners.
Rosa Dixon, from Natural Decadence, helped to donate and coordinate the desserts for the meal. "This is what Thanksgiving is all about," said Dixon.
