HOOPA - A Hoopa woman wanted by authorities for allegedly shooting a man this last January was arrested over the weekend.
Francis Billy was taken into custody this past Saturday. She was found walking alongside a roadway in Hoopa. Back on January 28, Billy allegedly got in an argument with another woman on Alameda Drive. For unknown reasons, a 57-year old male victim was shot by the suspect with a 22-caliber rifle but he sustained non-life threatening injuries and Billy fled the scene.
She was arrested and booked into the Humboldt County jail. Her bail is set at $750,000.
