Warren held to answer on pair of murder charges

EUREKA- As the preliminary hearing for double-homicide suspect Jason Warren wraps up we learned today that he would be held to answer on murder charges.
After four days of testimony the judge found circumstantial evidence tying Warren to two separate homicides last Sept. The first one of Hoopa woman Dorothy Ulrich, who was found inside of her home and heard on surveillance footage pleading to Warren for her life.
Prosecutors then allege that Warren got into Ulrich’s car and intentionally ran down three joggers on Myrtle Avenue the same morning, which killed Suzanne Seemann and runner Jessie Hunt's dog, Maggie.
He is being held to answer on two counts of murder, two counts of attempted pre-meditated murder, and two special allegation charges for lying in wait and torture. If convicted he could receive the death penalty or life in prison without the possibility of parole.
He is due back on court on Dec. 30.
