Weather cancels and delays many North Coast flights

NORTH COAST- The storm that swept through the North Coast Wednesday night had an impact on air travel Thursday.

Flights to San Francisco from the Arcata Eureka Airport were delayed by several hours or canceled all together. Four of six departure flights were canceled Thursday. Two flight did make it out, but were delayed. Two flights from San Francisco to ACV were canceled.

The weather also disrupted flights in Crescent City. Two flights headed there were canceled. Officials with the Del Norte County Airport said they hope to begin flying Friday.
