Willits running dry; water could run out in 60 days
WILLITS- Willits water districts could run out of water in 60 to 120 days as a result of the record dry drought. The California Public Health Department announced on Tuesday that they would assist the 17 different districts facing the lowest water levels in the state.
The state plans to assist the water district with technical and financial assistance, and provide emergency resources if drinking water becomes threatened. The state said they will work with the water district to help notify customers about conservation and constructing additional wells if necessary.
