WILLOW CREEK - Fire personnel rescued a man out of the Trinity River early Thursday morning after his truck went down an embankment and into the water.
Just before three, the Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident two miles east of Willow Creek. The truck reportedly went down a 300 foot embankment and landed in the river.
Salyer Fire Department also responded and brought in its hover craft which was deployed to rescue the only occupant of the car, a male driver.
He was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Hawkins Bar Fire also assisted in the rescue.
