HCSO searches for vehicle in drive-by shooting

WILLOW CREEK – Law enforcement is searching for suspects after a drive-by shooting in Willow Creek.

Around 3:45 Tuesday, reporting parties said a black GLK Mercedes sedan drove past an unoccupied residence on Butterfly Creek Road and fired off 10-rounds from a weapon hitting a truck in the driveway. The suspects then fled westbound on Highway 299. Deputies responded to the area but the vehicle was not found.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
