Trinidad man arrested for threatening to shoot next door neighbor

TRINIDAD – A Trinidad man is behind bars for brandishing a gun at one of his neighbors.

Members of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, California State Parks and the National Parks Service all responded to the trailer park on View Street when a call came in reporting a tenant was threatening to shoot his next door neighbor with a semi-automatic pistol.

Upon their arrival, the suspect, Robert Reid, had gone back inside his trailer.

Officers convinced Reid to come out and after speaking with deputies, he was booked into the Humboldt County Jail for brandishing a deadly weapon.

Anyone with more information should contact the Sheriff’s Office.
