Humboldt County accepting public comments on cannabis impact report draft

HUMBOLDT COUNTY – The County is gathering opinions on a newly drafted Environmental Impact Report which will affect changes to the county’s evolving cannabis ordinance.

Some of the proposed changes to the current ordinance include broadening areas where cannabis cultivation is allowed, creating standards for controlling odor impacts from said cultivation, and making special requirements for projects within certain community areas.

If you want to voice your opinion on the matter, you can do so on Thursday, September 21st at 5PM in the Humboldt County Court House Supervisor’s Chamber.
